Llangattock -Vibon - Avel Ploughing and Agricultural Society has its annual Shearing match on Sunday June 8th. The venue is the Graig Farm at Cross Ash, by kind invitation of the Turner Family. The Shearing match starts at 2.30 pm and everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be available and visitors can take a ride to the top of the Graig Hill by tractor and trailer. Apart from the fun of the ride itself there are panoramic views from the top of the hill. It is always interesting to watch the speed and skill of the shearers - and of those who roll the fleeces.
