CWMBRAN residents will have noise pollution beamed back to them by environmental officers during noise action week this Tuesday.
A band stand will be set up between 10 am and 4pm in Cwmbran town centre using a lap top connected to an ultra sensitive microphone, which will feed sound levels into special software.
The results will be beamed onto a projector screen for all passers by to see.
Specsavers who are sponsoring the event will be giving out free hearing tests.
