THE NUMBER of road casualties in Torfaen has dropped by nearly 50 per cent.
Figures released by the Welsh Assembly Government show a 49 per cent decrease compared to the 1994-98 average.
Statistics on road casualties in the borough also show a 11 per cent decrease since 2006.
