RESIDENTS in Ebbw Vale will benefit from a new community centre after two derelict council flats were transformed into a new leisure facility as part of the plans for regeneration in the area.
The empty homes in Garnlydan were converted into one large venue, which will be used by members of the community and groups. The centre will be formally opened later this year.
