TIME FOR A CELEBRATION: Tredegar is about to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the town clock and the 60th anniversary of the NHS.
A meeting of all organisations and parties involved will take place at Bedwellty House, on Monday, September 24, in the Assembly Room, to discuss the arrangements for the celebrations.
Tredegar Town Council are to sponsor, support and host events that are planned for 2008.
It is hoped by Tredegar Town Council to run at least one maybe two exhibitions during the celebratory year of 2008.
They are asking for information relating to the above celebrations, such as photographs, memorabilia, old memories of past celebrations, VE Day, VJ Day, the Coronation. All material will be catalogued and recorded.
