ONE Gwent resident with the best view of proceedings is 19-year-old Rhys Davies from Blackwood.
He has been racing around the course on a buggy, driving staff and equipment around for ESPN between the various holes.
Mr Davies, a media production student at Glamorgan University was offered the role after working as a runner at the Wales Open snooker event.
He said: “It's been great so far. I said hello to Colin Montgomerie and took a picture of Tiger Woods as he walked past.”
