BARNOLDSWICK CC have signed Sri Lankan batsman Jeevantha Kulatunga as their Jennings Ribblesdale League professional for the coming season.
Th 30-year-old right-handed bat has played for Colts CC in the Sri Lankan Premier League and his new team-mates will be hoping he can start his new season as he completed his last - he signed off from the Colts with a big century.
Since starting his senior career in 1990/91, he has accumulated 4,458 runs in 103 first-class matches.
The arrival of Kulatunga coincides with the departure of all-rounder Paul Beech. He has decided to return to Nelson, where he played in 1989/90.
