BLAZE: Firecrews tackle the fire at Allt-yr-yn
FIRE CREWS tackled grass fires in the Allt-yr-yn area of Newport and in Risca this afternoon. SEE MORE PICTURES BELOW.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 1.35pm about the fire at Barrack Hill, Allt-yr-yn.
Crews from Maindee and Malpas are currently at the scene.
WHERE THE BLAZE IS:
THERE was also a blaze in the Ty Sign area of Risca this afternoon.
The fire is behind houses on Eppynt Close and Cader Idris Close.
