EBBW Vale claimed the inaugural Swalec Championship title in emphatic style tonight by demolishing Glamorgan Wanderers 66-17 at Eugene Cross Park.
It was the Steelmen’s 22nd victory in 23 fixtures and took them over the 1,000 points mark in a quite remarkable season.
Danny Ajuwa (3), Dan Haymond (2), Polu Uhi, Adam Jones, Gareth Williams, Josh Lewis and Wes Cunliffe crossed for tries while Lewis and Haymond both kicked four conversions.
