WREXHAM kept the possibility of an all-Welsh Conference play-offs final alive with a narrow victory over Kidderminster Harriers in the first leg of their semi-final.

With Newport County AFC playing their first leg at Grimsby Town on Wednesday night, Wrexham earned a slender advantage against Kidderminster.

David Artell gave the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time before each side scored from the spot after the break.

Michael Gash levelled from 12 yards for Kidderminster on 57 minutes but Neil Ashton restored Wresham's lead on 84 minutes ahead of the second leg at Aggborough on Sunday afternoon.
