GLAMORGAN aim to send more West Midlanders packing when they play their first home game of the Friends Life t20 campaign this evening.
Glammy welcome Warwickshire to the Swalec Stadium looking to make it two wins from two.
Marcus North’s men made the perfect start against Worcestershire at New Road last Friday, winning by 58 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.
Graham Wagg, a West Midlander himself, was the star of the show with a career-best five for 14.
The left-armer will lead the charge against his former county this evening with Glamorgan naming an unchanged squad of 14.
“If we do our stuff and our basics well, which we did in the Worcestershire game, I don’t see how any team can stop us,” said Wagg, from Rugby.
“We'll prepare again exactly how we did for Worcester for Warwickshire.”
It is a first t20 game of the season for the Bears, who were beaten by Glamorgan in Cardiff and at Edgbaston last year.
Tonight’s game is followed by the return fiixture at Rugby School on Saturday.
Glamorgan: J Allenby, M Wallace (wicketkeeper), C Cooke, M North (captain), M Goodwin, B Wright, S Walters, N McCullum, N James, D Cosker, M Hogan, W Owen, G Wagg, A Jones.
