THREE players still have a chance to come from outside the current top nine and force their way into Europe's Ryder Cup team on points in the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles this week.
This is what they have to do - and what also has to happen for them to make it: Ross McGowan (12th). With a win will qualify as long as Hanson and Jimenez are not joint second and Francesco Molinari is not fourth. Second place will do providing Hanson is not in the top 17 and Jimenez is outside the top seven.
Simon Dyson (13th). Has to win and hope that two of the following three do not happen - McGowan second, Jimenez ninth, Hanson 43rd.
Alvaro Quiros (15th). Has to win and hope that Jimenez is outside the top 31 and McGowan is not second.
