CWMBRAN super bantamweight Jamie Arthur lost his Commonwealth title as his quest for the British crown ended in a points defeat to Jason Booth.
Arthur dominated early on but in a gruelling contest in which both fighters suffered cuts it was 33-year old Booth who finished the stronger.
Booth took the decision on the judges card at the end of 12 tough rounds, two giving him the fight 117-112 and 116-113 with Richie Davies scoring 115-114 in Arthur's favour.
Booth wins Arthur's Commonwealth title and holds onto his British title with a possible rematch for later in the year already being mentioned.
