NEWPORT County have made it to Wembley for the first time in their 100-year history after a tense 0-0 draw at Wealdstone.

The 3-1 victory at Spytty Park last week was enough for the Exiles to book their place in the FA Trophy final on May 12.

Justin Edinburgh's men will face York City at the national stadium after they beat Luton Town 2-1 on aggregate in the other semi.

It was a rearguard action at times with Glyn Thompson, Gary Warren and substitute Wayne Hatswell superb for County.

Nat Jarvis saw a late chance to seal it go begging but the final whistle saw scenes of wild celebrations amongst the 700 County fans.

The amber army invaded the pitch at St George's Stadium, relishing the prospect of a first trip to Wembley.
