THE mayhem of Twenty20 cricket starts for Glamorgan tomorrow in Worcester – and hopefully a bit of revenge can help us start the tournament with a bang.

Worcestershire hammered us in the County Championship at New Road last week so we are keen to turn the tables.

We are fully focused on starting well in T20 and getting to the knockout stages for the first time since 2008. Games come thick and fast so momentum will be key.

We’ve done pretty well in the Yorkshire Bank 40 and sit in third in our group with a chance of making the semi-finals.

It’s important that we show the same sort of form in T20 – and there is enough talent in our side to make a real impact.

Nathan McCullum joins up with us tomorrow after he is finished with New Zealand and he is a quality signing.

He bats, is a good fielder and his off spin could be a real weapon at Cardiff.

Nathan also has a wealth of experience and that can be said for plenty of our squad – Mark Wallace, Jim Allenby, Marcus North, Murray Goodwin, Michael Hogan.

We have a very strong side on paper but it’s vital that we start the tournament well.

- Recently it seems that I have spent most of my time in a van on the motorways of Britain or doing analysis on the laptop in changing rooms or in hotels.

The Champions Trophy has meant we’ve been on the road and it’s nice to have got back to normality in the last week.

It’s just as well I’ve been able to get some rest because I’ll be doubling up this weekend.

On Saturday I’m due to play for Panteg against Sudbrook then the following afternoon I’ll be turning out at Abergavenny in a game for my mate Mark Wallace’s benefit year.

There’s some great names that will be putting the whites on again for Wally.

It’s at Avenue Road and costs £5 to get in with gates opening at midday and the game starting at 2pm. It will be good fun.
