NEWPORT County AFC have finalised their pre-season friendly schedule for the 2017/18 campaign.
The Exiles will complete preparations for the new term with trips to Barry Town United on Tuesday, July 25 (kick-off 7.30pm) and Eastleigh on Saturday, July 29 (3pm).
These two matches are added to the five announced by the club last week, making it seven warm-up games in all for Mike Flynn’s men this summer.
They also go to Undy (July 14), Swindon Supermarine (July 15), Chippenham Town (July 18), Merthyr Town (July 19) and Gloucester City (July 22).
Gavin Chesterfield managed Barry to the Welsh League Division One title this season, with the Jenner Park outfit now gearing up for a crack at the Welsh Premier League.
They lost just four of their 30 fixtures on the way to the championship and clinched the trophy after a 1-0 defeat of Cambrian & Clydach.
As for David Pipe’s former club Eastleigh, they finished last season 15th in the National League under Richard Hill following the sacking of Martin Allen in February.
