NEWPORT County recorded the first victory of their pre-season programme with a comfortable 3-0 win at Evesham United.
Goals from Jake Harris, Andy Sandell and substitute Jefferson Louis sealed the win and saw County lift the Carl Lewis Memorial Trophy after the match.
Justin Edinburgh's side previously lost 3-1 at Undy Athletic last week and a youth team were held to a 1-1 draw at Moreton Rangers on Friday night.
The match at Evesham saw winger Kerry Morgan play for 65 minutes, while fellow trialist Sam Gwynne was give just 17 minutes to impress.
Joe Perry, son of ex-County and Cardiff City star Jason Perry, played a full 90 minutes in goal.
