GWENT'S two-time world champion Mark Williams has missed out on a place at this year's tournament after losing in the final round of qualifying.
Cwm star Williams lost 10-7 to Stuart Carrington in Sheffield this evening and will not play at the Crucible this year.
I'm played dreadfull all week and never deserved to qualify, sometimes trying 100 percent is not enough, u need to be able to pot some 😀😀

Newbridge's Lee Walker also crashed out in qualifying at Pond's Forge tonight, losing 10-8 to Noppon Saengkham.
Felllow Welshmen Jamie Jones, Dominic Dale and Michael White were all beaten, meaning Ryan Day will be the only Welsh player to play in the 2017 World Championships.
