NATIONAL SERVICE: Abergavenny hockey star Danielle Jordan
NEWPORT’S Abi Welsford and Sophie Clayton and Abergavenny’s Danielle Jordan are all set to represent Wales in the Women’s EuroHockey Championship II this weekend.
The tournament gets under way at the National Hockey Centre at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff tomorrow when Wales take on Austria at 6pm.
The hosts then face Poland at 6pm on Tuesday and Belarus at 6pm on Wednesday.
After a rest day on Thursday, the semi-finals take place on Friday and final at 4.30pm on Saturday.
Adult tickets for the group games cost £10 per day and £15 per day for Friday and Saturday.
