CAN someone explain why the variable speed restrictions on the M4 are still active at 9.30pm? Every Wednesday on our return from Magor these speed restrictions of 50mph-60mph are active from the Coldra to the Brynglas Tunnels. There is virtually no traffic on this stretch of the M4 at this time!
