THE plan to allow 16 and 17-year-old children to vote is obviously a Labour plot for left-leaning teachers to brainwash these children to vote Labour - yes they are children: one is not legally an adult until one is 18.
One cannot purchase alcohol or tobacco products until 18, and until 1970 one could not vote until 21.

Postal voting is too open to abuse and should be discontinued.

Getting on to the electoral register in more than one town should be rendered impossible - in the last general election students were openly boasting that they had voted for Labour two, three or four times in different constituencies.

It should be one person, one vote and a system should be devised to ensure it.
