THE MP for Torfaen has raised more than £1,200 for the children’s hospital, who helped to treat his baby son’s kidney failure.

Nick Thomas-Symonds received donations totalling £900 for the Mic Morris 10k road race, which was held on his son William’s first birthday.

“Since being taken ill in November 2016 with chronic kidney failure, he has had five operations and numerous medical appointments at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital.,” said the MP.

“I have seen first-hand the magnificent work the hospital staff do, not just in caring for children, but supporting the whole family, too.”
