GHOULS, spectres and phantoms will swarm across the Severn Bridge for a Halloween Walk in aid of charity.

Children and parents are being encouraged to dress as outrageously as they can for the fun event on Saturday, November 4, raising money for St David's Hospice Care next month.

Gemma Sandhu, of St David’s Hospice Care, said: “We want to make the five-mile walk there and back as spooky as possible so we’re encouraging people to really get into the spirit.

"It also gives mums, dads and kids the chance to wear their Halloween clothes for a second time after the big day.”

The event is being promoted and supported by Kre8tive Theatre Kidz which is a musical theatre school with classes in Caldicot and Chepstow.

Amy Gibbs and Gareth Williams, of Kre8tive Theatre KIdz, said: “We are really excited to be able to promote and support the Halloween Severn Bridge Walk for St David’s Hospice Care as it is such a fantastic charity that has supported our own family as well as many we know.

“We feel it is really important that our students are aware of how important charities like this are and fully encourage all to take part in this fun family event.

"The best bit is you get to be fun and Kre8tive by wearing a Halloween costume while doing it.”

Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for children with a family ticket costing £25. Entrants are encouraged to raise additional sponsorship money for St David’s Hospice Care

Kreative offers classes for ages aged four to six-years-old and for those aged seven to18.

They are currently working towards a Christmas musical - Where are you Christmas? - which will be performed at CMTShub@Castlegate in Caldicot on December 7.
