DOES Mr Bond ever give up? (1/11)
To answer some of his questions to me I am not an anglophile, do not dodge issues, and enjoy opera. The fact is Mr Bond got it wrong in his original letter by mixing up application forms with the licences issued. Now he is raising the Welsh Opera! I have only ever criticised the waste of money on bilingual forms. Official business can, and is, conducted in English, another official language of Wales, which 99% of people use daily. And again I think the Welsh culture is wonderful. Mr Bond, you are struggling and trying to raise other issues, like the Welsh Opera, to ignore the fact that bilingual forms are a waste of money. By all means take the issue of opera up, but bear in mind most operas are in foreign languages and not Welsh!
