M & S is leaving the city centre, and re-locating to Spytty.
If they draw more big stores out there they will be calling it Spytty City. Debenhams would be crazy to open a store in Friar’s Walk because people with money to spend will be shopping in Spytty, leaving just Poundland customers in the city centre.
