An excellent County show

I CAN recommend an exhibition celebrating 100 years since the formation of Newport County FC in 1912. Newport Museum and Art Gallery has some very interesting memorabilia on display and memory boards to record your recollections. We were also reminded of many things forgotten, with a 20-minute film of still photographs. There were players and events which so many people could identify with.

Gathering around the film created lots of discussion and debate. An audible feature was also provided where you could listen to the recorded memories of County supporters, past and present.

County Till I Die says...

I stood at the end no doubt like many others before me saying "That's Len Hill, that's Wynne Hooper, that's Jeff Thomas (in school with him), that's Alf Sherwood, that's Sam Foley". Great exhibition, but I thought it would be bigger. Enjoyed listening to County fans stories at the Listening Post.
