My solution was ignored

I SEE that contributors continue to write in with regard to dog fouling. Caerphilly council’s pathetic response is that they have a campaign in place. Newport council bribes residents with vouchers for doing what they should do in the first instance, picking it up.

I undertook an independent survey on dog fouling in 2012. I provided each council with a copy of the survey, with a recommendation to dispense with policies which have failed for eight years. I also offered a cost-effective alternative. Caerphilly council preferred to continue with failed policies, wasting council tax payer money, as did Newport council. Conway and Denbighshire councils are determined to continue to waste council tax payers’ money. I have ample evidence to support my claims.
