Junk food conundrum

CAERPHILLY, Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent councils have withdrawn the sale of beef burgers in all schools. Are these the very same local authorities who tried to ban burger vans from parking outside schools in order to protect students from the temptation of consuming junk food? What were these councils up to then, I wonder? Was the ban on burger vans put in place to care for the health of schoolchildren or was it in place to covet their own little profitable business in the sale of junk food?

At my son's primary school they only have burgers & chips once a week but he's not bothered he would rather a curry or roast any day.

What conspiracy ? this is the food regulation people telling us what we eat isn't what they say it is. That is fraud. There's damned horse meat in near everything people are eating, it's a sandal. I am in recall of a certain curry house in Newport years ago that served rat meat in Curry, fast food eaters would not have a clue what meat was being used..... it is all smothered in spices.
