CWMBRAN town centre is great. Despite the recession the town centre is bustling.
Staff in the shops are only too eager to assist customers.
This customer service was evident in all the stores I visited.
I can see why Cwmbran is so vibrant. I cannot see why Newport City Council is investigating why the trade has dropped. The answer is evident when you visit other city centres. So here are some comments for the council to think about.
Free parking, good customer service, and a wide range of goods in the shops.
The main shopping area is covered. Bright, attractive window displays and well-kept shops fronts.
A well-maintained focal area including a bandstand with plenty of cafés.
It is traffic-free but still maintains the footfall of shoppers. There is your answer.
