I AM not surprised no ambulance service in Wales has hit its targets. I recently took my mother to the Gwent with a suspected stroke. I stood for seven hours with her before she saw a doctor and the ambulance crew were with us for over five hours because they were waiting for an empty trolley before they could leave. Has nobody had the common sense to buy a few spare trolleys so the crew could just pick up an empty one and get off? It is utterly beyond belief.
