VISION 21 café at Belle Vue Park (normally open Monday to Friday) was closed on May 6 –- a lovely, sunny bank holiday Monday. Lots of visitors were enjoying the park in the afternoon. There was a constant stream of people heading for the café and being disappointed because it was closed.
Could the council allow an alternative on other bank holidays and at weekends? Perhaps an ice-cream van, mobile café or a community group raising funds?
