ON THE subject of a gay marriage bill, I must confess to having some reservations on this matter.
They are not based on religion, as I have no religion. I see it as having an element of absurdity.
For a man to describe another man as his ‘husband’ is to invite ridicule. What is wrong with the term ‘partner’?
Marriage is normally a word to describe a relationship between a male and a female person. To change that description is surely to cause confusion?
