Pupils sing well

First published in Letters

MAY I take this opportunity through your letters page to personally congratulate the pupils of Blackwood Primary School who recently travelled up to the LG Arena in Birmingham to take part in Young Voices 2014.

They performed alongside over 6,000 children from all over the UK. They sang a wide variety of songs alongside professional singers Wayne Ellington, Keith Semple and “Queen of the Jungle” Stacey Solomon. They also performed with the electric street dance company, Urban Strides. The children sang beautifully and thoroughly enjoyed a truly once in a lifetime experience. As Chair of Governors I was very fortunate to be asked to attend and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their performances. Well done.

Cllr Delwyn Davies Chair of Governors Blackwood Primary School
