IN WRITING letters to the Argus, I have never fabricated gossip like Jim Dyer (Argus 18.4.14) and I have never overstepped the mark by implicating anybody’s neighbour, private conversation or naming their address. Jim Dyer should apologise to “my neighbour” – whoever he means. Any dire insults and criticisms directed at me are to be expected from some individuals – so I just grin and bear it. If Jim Dyer cannot stand the heat, he should stay out of the (Argus?) kitchen! According to him, any mention of air pollution in Newport, traffic congestion, dogs’ mess, litter and vandalism problems are mostly “dross” – enough said!?
