Not Braveheart

I THINK Walt Jackson needs to go to Specsavers. ; firstly my name is D. R. Hall not B. R. Hall. I did not class Alex Salmond in the same league as Braveheart, in fact I never mentioned Braveheart. Braveheart was Hollywood’s name for the film about William Wallace. I said I hope the Scottish people remember William Wallace and what the English did to him.

In any case what is your point? This world would be a better place without such divisiveness; There is already too much of it. We need to unite in the 21st century not split up based on some perceived injustice from centuries ago. United we stand.

"This world would be a better place without such divisiveness;" - try Alex Salmond; Wiki classifies him as an economist!

Sorry, just an aside, but I looked up William Wallace and interestingly his surname 'Wallace' is actually derived from the medieval Gaelic word for Welshman. One theory is that his family emigrated from Wales to Scotland at some stage. At the same time, Edward I was also attacking the Welsh and persecuting the Jewish community whom he then expelled in 1292. Of course, he's not around now to answer in his defence, but imho definitely seems to be one of the most harmful and divisive monarchs that we've ever had in this country.

Oh no. You'll start Pwlldu off on one of his rants about England's medieval excesses against the ancient savages and how Maggie Thatcher was just the same and how independence will fix it.
