I AM writing this letter in disappointment at Newport City’s lack of respect.
I went to Newport City’s Velodrome on Sunday, 6th July 6, to say farewell to two young men who are cycling 18,000 miles around the world. This event is in aid of Cancer Research.
I would have expected the mayor of our fine city to have of attended this event just to wave them off on this epic trip.
But sadly, nobody from the council or any of our fine MPs could find time to attend.
Anyway, I would like to express my admiration for these two individuals.
Best of luck on your adventure of a lifetime.
