IT’S been announced the average managers’ salary in private industry is £36,000. Caerphilly Council pays three times that. They also pay ‘The Living Wage’. Of course, it’s not their money, so they don’t care.
Now, a Labour Minister attacks the Celtic Manor who pay way above the average for under 18s. He doesn’t care about the wage rate.
He is just trying to have a go at Terry Matthews, a valley boy who worked hard to get where he is. No wonder the Labour Party is no longer trusted.
Ed Balls said the party has learnt economic lessons. What a joke! We are never consulted. In my 72 years, they haven’t learned how to run a business – decisions made in secret. Only when someone becomes disgruntled does the truth come out.
