The ceremony will end after the two minutes’ silence.
Relatives of the crew are grateful that this ceremony takes place each year and it is hoped that the usual good attendance will be present again this year.
Anyone wishing to attend who doesn’t know the way are invited to join the group travelling up from the bridge at Waterworks Lane, Abersychan at 9.30 am.
Other individuals will be making their way there via the mountain gate at the end of Lasgarn Lane, which starts just before the entrance to Pontypool Golf course.
This is a less arduous route and a car can be taken as far as the mountain gate.
