THERE is a building near the market in Newport which has lovely brickwork, especially around the windows. Unfortunately, if nothing is done to remove the buddleia plants that have rooted in the brickwork, the roots will loosen the mortar and bricks will eventually fall to the ground.
It doesn’t bear thinking about if this should happen, especially with people walking past! So,come on, Newport City Council, sort this out before the inevitable happens.
