FOR those who wondered why the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG)WAG needed to keep the money given by Westminster that was supposed to be for freezing council tax in Walesgiven by Westminster, you have to look no further than the Assembly’s website. It seems our Assembly has been on a recruitment drive.

You would have thought that with the daily stories about our health service, it might be some new doctors or nurses, but alas no. The clowns of the bay have now recruited a president of the Welsh language tribunal, a barrister on nearly £600 a day plus expenses, with a view to establishing a team of legal experts working on the Welsh language. Also there are two new posts for Welsh language advisors to advise the commissioner – although one might ask why does a woman on £100k per annum who has been doing the job for over a decade need two advisors? The mind boggles. For anyone who voted for devolution – thanks a million.
