INSTEAD of lending £2million to some developer to refurbish the King’s Head Hotel, the money would be better spent repairing the building housing the library, reference library and museum. Alternatively, the council should lease one of the empty shops in Commercial Street, such as the old M&S and transfer everything from the existing building.
Regarding the market square bus terminus – why did the council not include penalty clauses? This council is not fit to run a picnic in a park, let alone a booze up in a brewery. No wonder the Welsh Assembly rates them the worst council in Wales.
