WE LIVE in a dangerous world. This includes the delightful Newport buses. These vehicles are not passenger friendly. When boarding, the central handrail is missing, the handrail that should run the length of the bus is also missing. The low floor means too many changes in level, (causing several stumbles), poor ventilation and unhygienic seating. Also, some drivers do not always wait until you are seated before moving off. I suppose this is progress!
