WHEN I read the letters page, I always look for the name of the of the writer first. If there is one from Mr McCarthy or Mr Banfield, I ignore them. These two men try to impress us with quoting from either the Bible, Richard Dawkins and other academics, but they have not got enough common sense to realise that every word they write to each other is futile.
When I read the excellent letter from Mr Nicholas, I thought the editor would take notice and stop the correspondence, but today, another person joined in. This will encourage more letters from Mr Banfield and although there are a lot of readers with views the same as Mr Banfield, they know better than to try andto reason with the likes of Mr McCarthy. Why don’t they just send their letters to each other?
