WITH APRIL 1st fast approaching, I read that Plaid Cymru spokesperson, Mr A Nutt, is getting into the spirit of April Fool’s Day with his latest letter in favour of a seven-way leaders debate. What is the point of all these leaders debating what they would like to do if elected to government in May when there are only two candidates for prime minister?
It is telling that Plaid Cymru and Tory Welsh secretary Mr Crabb are arguing for a rainbow coalition in Cardiff. The Tories know that Plaid have two faces. In South Wales, Plaid Cymru describes itself as socialist and in north Wales, Plaid Cymru are right wing and Tory, so if as expected, we have a hung parliament, will it be Plaid that crowns Cameron?
