INTERESTING to read Michael Pearlman’s sport column on Page 29 of Tuesday’s Argus quoting an unnamed opposition player saying that Newport didn’t seem to be the most interesting city to visit or play in, and maintaining that no other clubs this season would have endured this.
On Page 28 of the same edition, Max Porter the County midfielder admits the prospect of a Friday night in Accrington is not too appealing and states “No disrespect to Accrington but nobody likes going there do they? Everybody would say the same”. Surely that’s more or less the same thing?
