IT IS hardly surprising that 100 business people who just happen to be Tory donors, peers and supporters come out in support of the Tories.
A quick reality check reveals that the infamous hundred have seen their personal wealth grow by 44 per cent over the last five years, while benefiting from a personal tax cut worth £150k a year.
They have seen their companies benefit from a cut in corporation tax worth £10billion.
This windfall was used to improve the wealth of their share holders, while their employees have seen their wages stagnate, with many working on zero-hours contracts and claiming in-work benefits.
The infamous hundred are a stark reminder to all that the Tories are only interested in helping those at the top and that inequity and greed are good.
