I WOULD like to offer my sincere thanks to all those who supported me throughout the General Election campaign.
It is a huge honour to have been successfully re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Monmouth and I will continue to do my utmost to serve the residents of this wonderful constituency.
Within the last week, I have returned to Parliament; attended a meeting to discuss the anti-social use of motorcycles on the B4235 near Shirenewton; held an advice surgery; attended a service of commemoration for the men of Overmonnow who gave their lives in the First World War and the opening of Monmouth Skatepark; and had dinner with the Prime Minister in Cardiff.
It’s great to be back.
I would also like to thank the Labour, Liberal Democrat, UKIP, Plaid Cymru, Green Party and English Democrats candidates for a fair and decent campaign, which did not contain personal attacks or the sort of unpleasantness witnessed in other parts of the UK.
I genuinely wish them all the best.
For anyone wanting to get in touch, my parliamentary email address is now up and running at david.davies.mp@parliament.uk.

David T C Davies,
Member of Parliament for Monmouth
