LET me try and enlighten C Bradley, Newport on Plaid Cymru and my personal views. I’m not Plaid's spokesperson; these are my nationalist views, but I'm fairly sure Plaid shares the same sentiments. I believe Wales and the people who choose to live in Wales should have the knowledge and capabilities to make Wales a better place to live and grow old in by not having London dictate to us like children. That is my long term aim; how long will depend on the people of Wales feeling more confident in their abilities. Until then I will campaign for Welsh equality within the UK. This is a fairer financial set up via the Barnett Formula, a formula that both Labour and Tory governments are not willing to change; Wales having same powers as Scotland, Northern Ireland and a future North of England region. With Wales being so much underfunded, we have to go cap in hand to Europe for extra regional funding and that will stop if the UK leaves Europe.
