SO, NEWPORT Transport want people to use the bus more and not their cars.
There is only one answer to that - a better bus service. My route - Brynglas/Allt-yr-yn 11A/11C - is a two hourly service if you do not go via the scenic route, otherwise every hour. It isn’t a reliable service; the bus is very often late or doesn’t turn up.
We have no service after 8pm, no Sunday service or Bank Holiday service.
I have used my car more since the route was altered and will continue to do so.
