WE would like to congratulate Mr Michael and Mrs Marcia Doyle for bringing over six children from Chernobyl.
They have taken the children to quite a few places recently, with more to come. They are here for a month.
Moose International Islwyn (58) Lodge had them to a tea party on Friday 17th July, at St Margaret’s Church Hall, Risca.
All the children – and their interpreter Anya – thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were presented with a bag of goodies, plus one for a friend or relative.
Michael and Marcia have been bringing children over from Chernobyl for a long time now, they are to be congratulated for a grand job.
